Hello and welcome to my Tiger Face Paint Step by Step Guide

I will be showing you from start to finish how you can paint a simple Tiger face.

This face is one of the popular faces asked for at parties and  events.

What you will need

  • Facepainting Sponges
  • Major Brushes (Round)
  • White Facepaint (Snazaroo)
  • Yellow Facepaint  ( Snazaroo)
  • Orange Facepaint (Snazaroo)
  • Black Facepaint  (Snazaroo)
  • Red Facepaint  (Snazaroo)
  • Glitter
  • Spritzer
  • Water
I bought all of my materials from this site: http://www.facepaintsdirect.co.uk/

Step 1
Fill up a container with a small amount of water, this will be used to clean your brushes and wet you brushes

Step 2
Fill up you spritzer with water as well, this will be sprayed onto the paint when you are using your sponge

Step 3
Spray the spritzer on the white paint, rub your sponge into it to pick up the paint then paint a white beard. Try to get an even coverage by wiping the the sponge over the face dabbing where skin can be seen.

Step 4:Paint two large shapes above the eyes in white. Ensure they look the same on each eye.

Step 5
With the white paint, create a mustache under the nose for the muzzle of the tiger. Also paint a white line along the bottom of the eye.

Step 6 With a sponge paint all around the white bits with yellow. Be sure not to go over the white parts. Dab your brush to get better coverage.

Step 7
With your sponge, paint the edges of the yellow orange. Don't go over the white bits and don't paint too far into the yellow.

Step 8:Once you have painted the orange around the yellow blend the orange into the center. You can do this by either getting a dry sponge with a small amount of orange paint and dragging it from the center into the middle or by painting orange far into the center and then dabbing yellow onto the orange that is too far in.

Step 9
Gather some red paint on a sponge and go around the edge of the orange.
Step 10:Repeat the blending technique described in step 8
Step 11
With a round brush and black paint create a triangle shape on the nose
Step 12: Create a line from the nose to the top lip using a round brush and black paint. Paint the top lip black.

Step 13
Create two large curved lines that come from the top lip and curve in towards the nose. This will be the muzzle of the tiger. Paint a triangle in the middle of the lips with the line from the nose being in the center
Step 14:                                                                             Paint the bottom lip black and add hairs to the side of the moth This can be done by flicking the brush from the lip outwards. I would not recommend painting the bottom lip black as I have found that children will more than likely wipe it off and leave a mess. Instead you can use watered down red or orange for the bottom lip.

Step 15
One the eyes create a cat eye effect with your brush. To do this start a line from the inside of your eye and create a line that follows the shape of your eye and flicks out pass the end of the eyelid. Create a black line underneath the eye that connects to the flick.

Step 16: Colour in the eyelid in black and do the same to the other eye.

Step 17
Create fur on the chin and around the jaw by flicking the paint brush from the chin and into the center
Step 18:                                                                        Create whiskers on the muzzle by making a series of dots that start from the the top and angle towards the lips. Try to make the dots go from bigger to smaller. you can add lines from fur whiskers if you want.

Step 19
Now its time to add the stripes. To create a stripe start with the tip of the brush touching the skin. As you create a line, place the bush flat in the middle of the line. Slowly twist the brush off of the skin. The stripe should be 'skinny, fat, skinny' Don't worry if you can't get it the first time it takes a lot of practice.

Step 20
Stripes can be in any order and shape you want them to be in
Step 21: You can also add spots in between stripes if you want to.
Step 22:As you can see its just a case of building up stripes in order to get a tiger face paint that looks detailed. If you break the stripes up then it will be a lot easier

Step 23
While this tiger face is okay for older children, teens and adults you may want to only do a few stripes on small children as they tend to wiggle a lot and some can find it hard to sit still of a long period of time

Dalmatian Face Paint Tutorial

Hello and welcome to my Dalmatian Face Paint Step by Step Guide

I will be showing you from start to finish how you can paint a simple dalmatian face.

This face is one of the popular faces asked for at parties and  events.

What you will need

  • Facepainting Sponges
  • Major Brushes (Round)
  • White Facepaint (Snazaroo)
  • Grey Facepaint  (Snazaroo)
  • Black Facepaint (Snazaroo)
  • Red Facepaint  (Snazaroo)
  • Glitter
  • Spritzer
  • Water
I bought all of my materials from this site: http://www.facepaintsdirect.co.uk/

Step 1
Fill up a container with a small amount of water, this will be used to clean your brushes and wet you brushes

Step 2
Fill up you spritzer with water as well, this will be sprayed onto the paint when you are using your sponge

Step 3
Spray the spritzer on the white paint, rub your sponge into it to pick up the paint then paint the entire face white. Try to get an even coverage by wiping the the sponge over the face dabbing where skin can be seen.

Step 4

Dip your round paint brush in the water and then into the grey pain. Start adding large and irregular spots to the face. Make sure the sports aren't like a circle, make the edges different. If you are in a hurry simply skip the grey and use black paint instead

Step 5
Clean your brush or get a new one and apply black paint to it. Begin to paint the nose.

Step 6

Add a black line from the nose to the mouth. Create a thick line for canine faces. Be sure to go right to the top lip.

Step 7
Paint the top lip in black and create two flicks on either side of the mouth. This will be the muzzle of the dalmatian.

Step 8
With a clean or new brush get some red paint on your brush. From one side of the bottom lip create a round oblong shape. This will be the tongue of the dog.

Step 9
Get some black paint and colour in the eyelid.

Step 10
For girls you may want to add flicks to the eyelid to create long lashes. Place the brush flat on the eyelid and gradually pull the brush up so that just the tip is on the skin. This will create the flick effect.

Step 11
Do the same on both eyelids. If you are using black paint for the spots instead of grey then just do this on one eye as the other will already  be covered in the black spot.
Step 12                                                                                        With a clean brush, mix the grey in with black to make a darker grey colour.
Step 13
Apply this to one side of every spot for definition and shading.

Step 13
Create a black line down the middle of the tongue. Once you are happy with your facepaint you can add glitter to make it sparkle.

Panda Charm Tutorial

Hello and welcome to my Panda Clay charm Tutorial.

I will be showing you from start to finish how you can make your own panda charm ^_^

What you will need

  • Fimo Clay (White, Green, Black)
  • Paint (Black, White) Optional (Green, Pink)
  • Eye Pin
  • Jump rings
  • Keyring
  • Glaze
  • Pliers

Step 1
Create 2 white balls. Make the ball for the head larger than the one for the body.

Step 2
Lightly pinch the top of the body to create a triangular shape.

Step 3
Connect the head and body together, be sure not to press to hard and ruin the shape.

Step 4
Roll out 4 small  black sausages and pinch them at the end to form a point. These will be the arms and legs.

Step 5
Add two of the black sausages under the head and the other two at the bottom of the body

Step 6
Next create 3 small black balls of clay.

Step 7
Add two of the small black balls on the top of the head. These will be the ears

Step 8
Add the last black ball near the bottom of the body on the back. This will be the tail

Step 9
Make a leaf shape with the green clay. Create a ball first and then pinch one side

Step 10
Cut the veins of the leaf. Create a long cut in the middle then angle the veins upwards towards the pointed end

Step 11
Roll out a long green sausage. This will be the stem of the leaf

Step 12
Lightly press the leaf into the stem. Ensure you don't press too hard as the shape may be lost.

Step 13
Connect the leaf and stem to the panda. Try to connect on the first attempt as the black clay will mark the green. Stick an eye pin in the top of the Panda's head

Step 14
Bake the Panda in the oven at 194 °F (90 °C) for 10 minutes. Ensure the oven is preheated first as your charm will not be fully cured and will more than likely break. Leave the charm to cool down for 10 minutes after you take it out of the oven. Not only will it be hot but it will be quite fragile at this time.

Step 15
If you have green paint, paint over the veins on the leaf

Step 16
With your black paint, paint 2 large oval shapes on the head, these will be the black parts around the Panda's eyes.

Step 17
Paint a small oval in between the two larger ones. This will be the nose. Paint a thin black line coming down from the nose.

Step 18
Paint 2 curved lines at the bottom of the nose line. This will be the Panda's mouth.

Step 19
Paint two white circles on top of the large black ovals. Be sure the black is dry or else you could end up with a mixed mess :P. These white circles will be the eyes.

Step 20
Next paint two black circles on top of the white ones. Make them smaller than the white as these will be the pupils of the Panda. Once again be sure the white paint is dry first.

Step 21
Add two even smaller white dots to the outside of the black pupils. This should give the impression of highlights in the eyes.

Step 22
Add a blush to your Panda charm if you want to by using light pink paint. I added blush on digitally XD

Step 23
Glaze you charm once you are happy with it. I use three different glazes as it seems to give it extra shine. I use Decoart Matte,Satin and gloss glazes in that order. Make sure that if you do glaze more than once you let the first layer completely dry before you apply another coat. Also apply thinly as too much glaze could cause drips

Step 24
Add a Keyring to your charm by connecting them with jump rings. Close the jump rings with pliers.

And voila your all done!

I hope this tutorial was helpful ^_^ If it was, post a picture of your charm or leave a comment below.
